THE SCHOOL'S OBJECTS ARE RESTRICTED SPECIFICALLY, IN EACH CASE ONLY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 2.1 TO PROMOTE THE CAUSE OF EDUCATION; AND2.2 TO ESTABLISH AND CARRY ON AT SHIPLAKE COURT, SHIPLAKE, NEAR HENLEY IN THE COUNTY OF OXFORD OR ELSEWHERE A SCHOOL TO BE CONDUCTED ON THE MODEL OF THE BEST INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS IN ENGLAND FOR PROVIDING A GENERAL EDUCATION OF THE HIGHEST CLASS FOR BOYS, GIRLS AND YOUNG PERSONS, SUBJECT TO THE FUNDAMENTAL CONDITION THAT RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION SHALL BE GIVEN AT THE SCHOOL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, AND, IF THOUGHT DESIRABLE, TO ESTABLISH AND CARRY ON A PREPARATORY SCHOOL IN CONNECTION WITH, OR INDEPENDENTLY OF, THE SAID SCHOOL; AND 2.3 TO TAKE OVER THE BUILDINGS AND LAND KNOWNS AS SHIPLAKE COURT, SHIPLAKE WITH A VIEW TO THE SAME BEING USED FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE SCHOOL.
