(1) IN MAKING PAYMENTS TO THE GOVERNORS OF THE SCHOOL TO BE APPLIED BY THE GOVERNORS IN DISCHARGING THEIR OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE EDUCATION ACTS 1944 TO 1988 WITH RESPECT TO THE MAINTENANCE OF THE SCHOOL. (2) IN OR TOWARDS PROVIDING SUCH SPECIAL BENEFIT OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY FOR THE SCHOOL AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE AGREED BETWEEN THE TRUSTEES AND THE GOVERNORS OF THE SCHOOL AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THE SAID AUTHORITY. (3) IN PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN WHO ARE PUPILS AT THE SCHOOL. (4) IN THE AWARD OF EXHIBITIONS, GRANTS, SCHOLARSHIPS OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TENABLE AT ANY SECONDARY SCHOOL, COLLEGE OR EDUCATION, UNIVERSITY OR OTHER INSTITUTION PROVIDING FURTHER EDUCATION TO YOUNG PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, WHO ARE RESIDENT WITHIN THE PARISHES OF PYTCHLEY ISHAM AND BROUGHTON AND WHO HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS AT ANY TIME ATTENDED SCHOOL.
