TO APPLY THE INCOME OF THE EDUCATINAL FOUNDATION AS FOLLOWS: A) AS TO NOT MORE THAN ONE THIRD THEREOF IN OR TOWARDS PROVIDING SUCH SPECIAL BENEFITS OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY AT ANY MAINTAINED SCHOOLS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE AGREED BY THE GOVERNORS OF THE SCHOOLS CONCERNED. B) AS TO THE REMAINDER THEREOF IN PROMOTING THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF PERSONS WHO HAVE ATTAINED THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, WHO OR WHOSE PARENTS ARE RSIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT OR WHO HAVE ATTENDED SCHOLS IN THE AREA FOR NOT LESS THAN THREE YEARS AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE , AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALIITY OF THE FOREGOING - IN AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, EXHIBITIONS, BURSARIES, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, OR OTHER INSTITUTION OF FURTHER EDUCATION APPROVED FOR THE PURPOSE BY THE TRUSTEES; AND IN PROVIDING FINANACIAL ASSISTANCE, OUTFITS, CLOTHING, TOOLS, INSTRUMENTS OR BOKS TO ASSIST SUCH PREONS TO PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION (INCLUDING THE STUDY OF MUSIC AND OTHER ARTS) TO UNDERTAKE TRAVEL IN FURTHERANCE THEREOF, OR TO PREPARE FOR OR ENTER A PROFESSION, TRADE, OCCUPATION OR SERVICE ON LEAVING SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT.
