THE SCHOOL OF THE FOUNDATION SHALL BE MAINTAINED AS A VOLUNTARY CHURCH OF ENGLAND SCHOOL, AND THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY NOT MORE THAN 1/3RD OF THE INCOME IN PROVIDING SPECIAL BENEFITS FOR THE SAID SCHOOL. SUBJECT TO THE AFORESAID PAYMENTS, THE INCOME SHALL BE APPLIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN RESIDENT IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA, OR WHO HAVE ATTENDED THE SAID SCHOOL IN THE PROVISION OF EXHIBITIONS FOR FURTHER EDUCATION, ASSISTANCE AND EQUIPMENT FOR THEM ON LEAVING AN EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT, TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSION TRADE OR CALLING, AND OTHERWISE PROMOTING THEIR EDUCATION.
