A SUM NOT EXCEEDING ú50,000 FOR THE SUPPORT OR ADVANCEMENT AS THE TRUSTEES MAY THINK FIT OF THE WORKERS EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION OR ANY OTHER BODY CONCERNED WITH ADULT EDUCATION OR THE PROMOTION, SUPPORT ADVANCEMENT OR MAINTENANCE OF ANY EDUCATIONAL PROJECT OR UNDERTAKING FOR THE BENEFIT OF ADULTS CARRIED ON OR TO BE CARRIED ON OR RECOMMENDED OR APPROVED BY SUCH ASSOCIATION OR BODY. 3. A SUM NOT EXCEEDING ú20,000 FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF STUDENTSHIPS OR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT AND ASSISTANCE OF THE GENERAL TECHNICAL OR COMMERCIAL EDUCATION OF WORKMEN (PARTICULARY THOSE WHO HAVE FOLLOWED PART-TIME COURSES OF EDUCATION AFTER THE AGE OF 16) OR SONS OR DAUGHTERS OF WORKMAN TO BE CARRIED ON IN THE UK OR ELSEWHERE. 4. A SUM NOT EXCEEDING ú100,000 FOR THE PROMOTION ENCOURAGEMENT AND ASSISTANCE OF THE STUDY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES BY THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PROFESSORSHIPS OR LECTURESHIPS AND THE FOUNDATION OF SCHOLARSHIPS OR BURSARIES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. 5. A SUM NOT EXCEEDING ú100,000 FOR THE HIGHER EDUCATION OF WOMEN BY THE ENDOWMENT OR ASSISTANCE OF COLLEGES FOR WOMEN. 6. A SUM OF ú80,000 FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.
