TO PROVIDE FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OR INJURY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR CONVALESCENCE AND REHABILITATION. THE FUND WILL ALSO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS FROM FORMER OFFICERS OF THE ABOVE FORCES AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES
