The objects of the Society are to advance the education of the general public by encouraging and promoting the public interest of the former Corris Railway and in particular but without limitation to restore, maintain and operate the railway alongside collecting and exhibiting to the public (at a charge to be fixed from time to time by the charity trustees) all historical and educational relics connected with the Railway which the Society may be able to acquire, together with all other items of local interest; e.g. historical, industrial and natural items.
