THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY IN ONE OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CLEOBURY MORTIMER: (A) IN RELIEVING SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS; (B) IN RELIEVING SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE MENTALLY OR PHYSICALLY DISABLED IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT.
