(1) THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF PATIENTS NEEDING OR UNDERGOING OR HAVING UNDERGONE PLASTIC SURGERY FOR THERAPEUTIC PURPOSES SUCH AS (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) PLASTIC SUGERY FOR THE REMEDY OF DEFORMITIES RESULTING FROM DISEASE OR TRAUMA OR BURNS OR WHICH ARE CONGENITAL AND GENERALLY MEDICALLY RECONGNISED ILLNESSES AND DEFORMITIES WHICH ARE LIKELY TO CAUSE SUFFERING. (2) THE PURCHSE OF ANY APPARATUS OR EQUIPMENT MEDICAL OR OTHERWISE REQUIRED FOR USE IN INVESTIGAING OR TREATING THE CONDITION OF OR ALLEIVIATING THE SUFFERING OF ANY SUCH PATIENTS OR FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESEARCH LEADING TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF MEDICAL SCIENCE IN THE FIELD OF PLASTIC SURGERY GENERALLY.
