THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE TO INCREASE THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF NATURAL HISTORY OF MEMBERS OF THE CHARITY AND THE PUBLIC BY PROMOTING STUDY AND RESEARCH AND IN PARTICULAR:A) TO ARRANGE MEETINGS, LECTURES, EXHIBITIONS, FIELD EXCURSIONS AND SIMILAR GATHERINGS FOR THE ABOVE PURPOSEB) TO ARRANGE FOR THE COLLECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF SCIENTIFIC RECORDS RELATED TO THE NATURAL HISTORY IN THE AREA OF BENEFITC) TO PUBLISH PROCEEDINGS AND REPORTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS OF THE CHARITY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN LIAISON AND EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION WITH ORGANISATIONS HAVING OBJECTS IN COMMON WITH THE CHARITYD) TO UNDERTAKE ALL SUCH THINGS AS ARE NECESSARY TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS OR ANY OF THEM.
