PROVIDED THAT ANY INCOME NOT EXPENDED AS ABOVE MAY IN THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES BE EITHER ADDED TO THE CAPITAL OF THE TRUST FUND OR APPLIED IN SUCH CHARITABLE MANNER THE TRUSTEES SHALL THINK FIT AND AS SHALL PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF LITERARY ABILITY AMONGST THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL.
