APPLICATION OF INCOME. (1)SUBJECT TO THE PAYMENTS AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN ASSISTING THE GOVERNORS FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE SCHOOL TO DEFRAY THE COST OF MEETING THEIR OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE EDUCATION ACTS 1944 TO 1986. (2)IF AND IN SO FAR AS THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IS NOT REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION AS AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE SAME IN EITHER OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: (A)IN PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION AT THE SCHOOL OR AT ANY SCHOOL IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT OR SUBSTANTIALLY SERVING THE SAME SUCH SPECIAL BENEFITS OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE AGREED BETWEEN THE GOVERNORS OF THE SCHOOL CONCERNED AND THE TRUSTEES. (B)IN PROMOTING THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING AND RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION CONSISTENT WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND) OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS RESIDENT OR WHO HAVE A PARENT OR PARENTS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
