(1) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF WATH AND SURROUNDING AREAS, IN PARTICULAR YOUNG PERSONS, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RARE OR OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR THE ARTS, AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.TO MAINTAIN A CENTRE FOR COMMUNITY ACTIVITY.THE PROMOTION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF URBAN OR RURAL REGENERATION IN AREAS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEPRIVATION AND IN PARTICULAR WATH UPON DEARNE BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS - THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, TRAINING OR RETRAINING, PARTICULARLY AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE, AND PROVIDING UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE WITH WORK EXPERIENCE(2) TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY CENTRE.
