1.1 The Objects of the Charity are for the public benefit:1.1.1 the promotion and advancement of education and training in such ways as the Trustees think fit, including by:(a) the assistance of unemployed persons to more easily find and enter into employment;(b) the advancement of those who are in employment through the continued development of their individual capabilities, competencies and skills;(c) assisting with preparation for entry into any occupation, trade or profession;(d) the provision of advice, support, financial assistance, coaching, vocational training and re-training, in order to assist the public in obtaining relevant skills or training as will fit them for employment. 1.2 Throughout the Articles, 'charitable' means charitable in accordance with the law of England and Wales provided that it will not include any purpose which is not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005. For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing the Articles of the Charity is the law of England and Wales.1.3 This provision may be amended by special resolution but only with the prior written consent of the Commission.
