PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING MUSEUM, EXHIBITION AND EDUCATION FACILITIES IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT COMPRISING SHERINGHAM NORFOLK AND ITS ENVIRONS;2.SECURING THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OR ITEMS OF HISTORIC, CULTURAL OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT SO THAT MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC MAY DEVELOP THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE HERITAGE OF THE SEASIDE TOWN OF SHERINGHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA; AND3.PRESERVING AND EXHIBITING HISTORIC LIFEBOATS FISHING BOATS AND THEIR EQUIPMENT ASSOCIATED WITH SHERINGHAM AND THEREBY CONTRIBUTING TO THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE PUBLIC OF A LIFEBOAT SERVICE AND THE LOCAL FISHING INDUSTRY.
