The objects of the charity are, for the benefit of the public, to relieve the needs of older people who are struggling with isolation and loneliness and to promote racial harmony between them, in particular, but not exclusively, by: 1) coordinating visits to places of worship and providing other opportunities for individuals to learn about different faiths while developing friendships and building a sense of community; 2) supporting, co-ordinating and giving information to minority ethnic groups and charitable organisations, including the production of a newsletter; and3) making grants to other organisations (in particular, faith organisations) which tackle loneliness among older people by organising social and leisure activities for themin each case, in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
