THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO TO BE CARRIED OUT IN AN AREA OF A RADIUS OF 15 MILES OF THE TOWN OF BANBURY IN OXFORDSHIRE, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE “AREA OF BENEFIT”, ARE: 3.1 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS/CARERS LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY PROVIDING: 3.1.1 CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND PARENTING SKILLS TRAINING TO PARENTS/CARERS 3.1.2 SAFE GROUP PLAY AND OTHER ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO SUPPORT CHILDREN’S SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT; AND 3.1.3 SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP AN INDIVIDUAL’S CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING. 3.2 TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES/CARERS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF SERVICES AIMED AT PRESERVING AND PROTECTING GOOD PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH, RELIEVING POVERTY AND HELPING PEOPLE TO MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS IN SOCIETY. 3.3 TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. 3.4 THE ABOVE OBJECTS SHALL BE CARRIED OUT WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION TO THE DETRIMENT OF ANY INDIVIDUAL ON THE GROUNDS OF COLOUR, ETHNIC OR NATIONAL ORIGIN, DISABILITY, RELIGIOUS BELIEF, SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR POLITICAL, PHILOSOPHICAL OR OTHER OPINION.
