1) THE RELIEF OF THE AGED AND DISABLED WHO ARE RESIDENT WITHIN A RADIUS OF SIX KILOMETRES FROM THE PUBLIC HOUSE KNOWN AS 'THE RAGGED COT', AT HYDE NEAR MINCHINHAMPTON, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR REHABILITATION, RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION. 2) IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES, AT THE DISCETION OF THE COMMITTEE, PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT JUST OUTSIDE THE SAID AREA, PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT ELSEWHERE, BUT WHO HAVE RESIDED AT SOME TIME IN THE SAID AREA OR WHO HAVE FAMILY RESIDENT IN THE AREA, OR WHO HAVE OTHER CONNECTIONS WITH THE AREA, MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR BENEFIT.
