St. Peter's is a very special one-form entry primary school located between Ravenscourt Park and St Peter's Square, in the heart of a lively West London community. As a school, we are immensely proud of our heritage as one of the first charity schools set up in West London.
George Scott, and his daughter Lucy Hannah Scott, realised that there was an acute shortage of even the most basic education for the children of labourers who lived in the district. The school was opened by Lucy Hannah Scott in 1849 for children of labouring, manufacturing and trading families, in the said Chapel and District of Hammersmith.
Today St Peter's remains an inclusive school, which continues to serve local families.
