About

Our school ethos is centred around the values of love, respect and kindness. We work in partnership with parents to celebrate the uniqueness of every child and embrace the individual gifts and talents of all of those in our school community. We work hard to support pupils to develop a love of learning and strive for academic excellence in all areas of the curriculum.

We are an inclusive school and we welcome families of all faiths, or no faith at all. I have recently taken over as Headteacher of St William of York and I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have the opportunity to lead our school and build upon the success already achieved.

I joined the team at St William of York in 2011, and I have loved every second of my journey over the last thirteen years. I started here as a student teacher and quickly realised what a special place our school really is.
