About

West Hill is a welcoming, inclusive community school with children who thrive, a committed staff and a dedicated Governing Body. We offer school places from Nursery (aged 3) through to Year 6 (age 11). We have one class per year group. Each class has a maximum of 30 children. The Nursery and Reception class have a full-time teacher along with teaching assistants.

Years 1 6 have full-time teachers and a teaching assistant every morning. Some classes also have learning support assistants who support children with a statement of special educational needs. Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our school website. We hope that our website gives you a clear insight into school life at West Hill Primary School.

We are a community school which has one distinctive aim: to serve our amazing, diverse community. We pride ourselves on developing curious learners, who engage readily with their learning, consistently demonstrate our values and want to do their very best with every opportunity. Excellent practices and systems in our school, support all children to be successful and confident.
