Welcome to Lyon Park Primary School. As a school, we are working towards being at the heart of the community. I am excited to be given the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the education and raising the aspirations of our children.
Working together with all stakeholders, we aim to provide a supportive and caring environment, inspirational teaching based on educational research, concentrating on embedding the basic skills, while engaging and motivating our children through enrichment activities, to be the best they possibly can be.
The children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future. Working in partnership with parents is crucial, if we are to ensure all of our children feel safe, happy, valued and achieve their full potential.
I look forward to meeting you all in the near future, at school events, assemblies, our monthly Chit Chat Mornings or even a quick chat on the school playground at the start or end of the day.
