I am really pleased to welcome you to Viking Primary School website - thank you for visiting! We hope our website gives you a flavour of our school but to get a real sense of the community feeling within our school, we encourage you to come and visit!
Please ring or email the office to make an appointment so we can make sure someone is there to answer your questions and show you around. Our aim at Viking is ensure all our pupils have access to a safe and stimulating learning environment.
We live by our vision 'be the best you can be' (article 29 – UNCRC); enabling our children to become independent, self-confident, mature and happy learners, with self-esteem and respect for the needs and rights of others. We aim to offer a rich and engaging school experience in which children are active participants in their own learning.
We aim to provide a firm foundation upon which to move to secondary education. By the time they leave us at age 11, we will expect that your child will have achieved a level of reading, writing and maths which is the best for their ability.
