A very warm welcome to our wonderful school! St Michael at Bowes CE Junior School is a very special school. We are an inclusive junior school with families from almost every country and faith in the world.
We provide our children with a safe and exciting environment where they are encouraged and supported to develop their academic, physical, spiritual, moral, social and cultural lives all this within a setting rooted in our Christian values.
We support each child to develop a deep and secure understanding and respect for their own traditions and faith and expect them to value those of others. We recognise and value the rich linguistic and cultural diversity in our school and the local community and capitalise on this within our bespoke curriculum offer.
We work tirelessly as a team to ensure that each child excels in their achievements and has the skills, independence and initiative to become positive role models and citizens of the world.
