Opened on 9th September 1965, Whybridge Infants is a local authority maintained community infant school located in Rainham, in the furthest east London Borough of Havering.
The school is open to children from ages 4 - 7, across the school years: Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Being three-form entry, meaning that there are three classes in each of these school years. Each class has a maximum of 30 pupils. There is a private pre-school on site for pre-Reception aged children and a neighbouring junior school for post-year 2 children.
Whybridge Infants is in fact entirely independent of both these other establishments despite housing the pre-school and sharing a name and boundary fence with the juniors.
