Our vision is to enable our whole school community to live life in all its fullness. based on John 10:10 The Staff, Governors and I are delighted to welcome you to St Matthew's Church of England Primary School, where we are proud of our distinctive Christian character and our strong links with St Matthew's church and our local community.
I am very proud to be Headteacher at St Matthew's, a friendly, caring and inclusive church school. Our vision of 'enabling our school community to live life in all its fullness'' is at the heart of all we do. At St Matthew's you will find dedicated staff who work hard to ensure that all children are happy, well-rounded and confident learners.
Each child is unique and we cherish their individuality. We welcome families who wish their children to grow spiritually, academically and socially. Whilst encouraging pupils to reach the highest academic standards possible, we consider it equally important that our children develop the attitudes and skills necessary to become healthy and effective citizens.
