Established in 1897, Newland House is one of the oldest and largest Prep Schools in the area and welcomes children from age 3-13. The Newland House journey begins in our Nursery at the age of 3 with children also joining us in Reception aged 4.
Children progress through the Pre-Prep and will transition to the Prep in Year 3 where they will stay until Year 6 (11+) or Year 8 (13+). We proudly offer history and tradition alongside modern facilities, progressive teaching methods and a vibrant community. Our welcoming building sits on a 5-acre site in a quiet residential area on the borders of Twickenham and Teddington.
Alongside well-equipped classrooms and ample outdoor space, our pupils benefit from two Science labs, an outstanding Design and Technology workshop, an Art studio and kiln, a Computing suite and a bright and spacious library.
We have a purpose-built Music block and two multi-functioning Halls, one of which has retractable seating and a professional lighting and sound system to support the Schools ambitious Drama productions.
