Resource Base Staff Governance Welcome Cherry Orchard is a two-form entry primary school with a nursery class and a SEND resource base for children with autism. We are honoured to be highly regarded within our local community as a caring and high-achieving school.
We serve a community of many faiths and cultures, and we believe we have an important part to play in ensuring that differences and similarities are shared and celebrated so that our children feel valued and understand and respect one another. One of the distinctive characteristics of our school is the friendly, supportive atmosphere in which everyone feels secure.
We realise that happy, confident and responsible children will achieve their full potential in a stimulating and supportive environment. The wellbeing and development of every individual is of paramount importance at Cherry Orchard.
Our core values of equality, respect, honesty, courage, friendship and understanding are an integral part of who we are, alongside our status as a Unicef Rights Respecting Gold Award school.
