At Walmley Infant School, we aim to inspire our children to be life-long learners and to be the best that they can be. We are a 3 form Infant School with a 52-place Nursery situated on Walmley Ash Road in Sutton Coldfield. We are committed to inclusivity and pride ourselves on the diversity of our 322 children. Our school is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
We work in partnership with private nurseries, making sure that children have a smooth transition into Nursery and into Reception. Walmley Junior School is where our children transfer at the end of Year 2. Again, we work closely with Walmley Junior School to ensure that children are ready for Key Stage 2.
As we are two separate schools, there is an application process for Walmley Junior School, their admission criteria states that children in Year 2 at Walmley Infant School will be offered a place on Year 3.
