Our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, can be found in the Policies section of our website. At Watling Street we are part of a jointly run operation between Walsall Council and West Midlands Police called Operation Encompass. Operation Encompass was set up to help schools provide support to children who have been present at incidents of domestic abuse.
We know that children may need emotional or practical support when they are involved in, are present at or witness to domestic abuse. Our School receives confidential communication from the Police Operation Encompass team on the morning after any police notification of, or attendance at, a domestic abuse incident to allow us to support our children in the best possible way.
More information on Operation Encompass can be found Here you will find - Operation Encompass
