About

It is my privilege to welcome you to St Hilda's. My name is Jo Code and, as headteacher, I am delighted to share what makes St Hilda's so extraordinary. As the only co-educational 11–18 Church of England school in Liverpool, St Hilda's is unique.

Our students, staff and modern, purpose-built facilities in the leafy setting of Sefton Park make St Hilda's a wonderful place to learn. Every parent/carer and child looking at secondary schools rightly expects excellence in teaching, impressive examination results, experienced pastoral care, and high standards of discipline. At St Hilda's these are givens !

W hat sets us apart is our passionate belief that every student can achieve beyond expectations—because we root everything in Christian values. We chose our values and House patrons together, and they mould who we are and how we flourish . Our Student Voice is vital—our School Parliament ensures every student can influence life here.

And our house system , named after local role models , Margaret Aspinall, Gee Walker, John Alexander Brodie, Kitty Wilkinson, William Roscoe and Levi Tafari, ensures no one feels lost in our community and we understand their impact on the Liverpool of today.
