Early Foundation Long Term Plan (Two Year Old Provision) At Castleway Nursery School we have a carefully designed EYFS curriculum which meets the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework requirements and prepares the children for the next stage of their education journey.
Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of our children whilst taking into account their interests and our locality. Our curriculum encourages a play-based approach and teachers offer the right balance between teacher-directed and child-led learning.
The curriculum follows our school ethos of putting children's language development at the heart of the curriculum, so each topic is built around stories and includes plenty of communication activities.
We are a Federation of 2 schools: In September 2022, Castleway Nursery School joined Castleway Primary School on the same site after significant refurbishment works from the Local Authority.
