About

iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).

Welcome to St Peter's C of E Primary School As Headteacher, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to St. Peter's Church of England Primary School. "You are Peter and upon this rock I shall build my church." (Matthew 16:18) St. Peter's is a very happy school with enthusiastic children and a thoroughly professional and dedicated team of staff.

Our community of children, staff, parents and governors value the importance of a caring community that enables achievement for all. We believe in fostering a lifelong love of learning for everyone and seek to instil in the children of our school, an understanding of themselves as learners. We believe that this self-awareness will best equip them for their future.

We aim to encourage and inspire lifelong learning and help everyone to learn how to learn. Our motto, 'Firm Foundations, Shining Bright' , resonates throughout school and in our partnership with our families and wider community. We aim to provide our children with firm foundations, building upon the rock of Jesus.

Our Christian values of Pride, Effort, Teamwork, Empathy, Respect and Spiritualty are at the forefront of our teaching and permeate throughout school life.
