About

We are made for goodness. We are made for loveWe are made for all of the beautiful things that you and I know. We are made to tell the world that there are no outsidersall are welcome. Demond Tutu. On behalf of our whole school community may I offer you a very warm welcome to our wonderful school.

St. William's is a one form entry Catholic primary school, one mile south of the centre of Bolton. Our school has strong links with Salford Diocese, our parish and the wider community. We are a vibrant multicultural, multi ethnic and multi faith inclusive Catholic school.

We celebrate diversity and our aim is to provide a rich, broad and holistic education where all children feel secure, nurtured and cherished. We are a very friendly and welcoming team who are always willing to help and support each child and their family. Our pupils are friendly, polite and caring, they work hard, make progress and enjoy their learning.

In March 2023 OFSTED reported that Pupils love attending this school. They flourish here. They said that if they tried to list the reasons why the school is special, it would take forever.
