It gives me a great pleasure on behalf of all the staff, children, parents and governors, to welcome you to our wonderful school. At Plymouth Grove Primary School our core school values are respect, equality and friendship. As a Gold UNICEF Rights Respecting School, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is embedded in everything we do.
All adults are duty bearers, and work together to protect these rights. This ensures that all children have their rights respected, their voices heard and their contributions valued, and all have the best possible start in life.
We aim for all our pupils to be responsible, caring citizens and to be lifelong learners, developing resilience, reflectiveness, reciprocity and resourcefulness. Our approaches through Building Learning Power and being a Rights Respecting School underpin these aspects of our intent.
