About

Christ Church C of E Primary School is committed to providing a high standard of education and also to sharing the Christian Faith in such ways that children recognise its worth. This involvement and closeness of church and school is an active and positive partnership that continues to the present time.

The school was opened in 1970 and is a modern, light and welcoming building set within its own grounds. The school provides both grassed and paved areas allowing a wide variety of outdoor activities. We also have an outdoor classroom, an adventure trail and a sensory garden.

Christ Church is an Eco Ambassador School and encourages all pupils to be involved in eco projects and have respect for their environment and bio-diversity. We are very proud of our achievements gaining the Ambassador status and work with other schools to develop their eco work.

Christ Church prides itself in offering our children an extensive range of extra curriculum activities, giving the children a fantastic range of skills and opportunities.
