About

Welcome to North Walkden Primary School from all the children, staff and governors! I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. Reach for the Stars is our school motto and is at the heart of everything we do at North Walkden. We are committed to ensure each child receives the best possible care and education and achieves their full potential.

The success of each child's education is important to us whatever their ability. We are a busy, friendly and welcoming school and we actively encourage the involvement of parents, carers and members of our community in all aspects of our school life.

We are continually looking for ways to improve and develop what we do, in order to make our school the best it possibly can be for our children. Our curriculum is broad, balanced and exciting; it is filled with practical experiences to engage and motivate the children to always want to learn more. We aim to foster a thirst for learning culture.

We link different areas of the curriculum together in topics and we take the children out on exciting and interesting trips to enrich their life experiences further.
