About

We are a happy, friendly and successful school. We have recently received a letter from the Minister for Schools congratulating us on our outstanding achievements in reading and confirming that we are in the top 1 percent of all primary schools in the country. Our ethos and values grow from the family environment we actively promote.

We work closely with our parents and community to ensure our pupils develop socially, emotionally and academically. All members of staff are fully committed to supporting each pupil to achieve their potential through exciting and stimulating experiences. We hope you enjoy viewing our website.

If you are interested in viewing Hursthead Infant School as a potential parent, please phone the school office and book a tour. Hursthead Infant School is open from 08-45am - 3-15pm every day, meeting the 2023 DFE requirements for a 32.5 hour school week
