About

Thank you for showing an interest in our school. Our aim is to provide all children with the best possible outcomes in preparation for life‐long learning. Although it seems a long time away, our ultimate aim is to send our children to high school confident in their own abilities and capable of recognising the strengths of others.

We believe it is important that children acquire the skills, knowledge and confidence that can be applied to all future learning experiences and challenges. At Torkington our curriculum promotes academic, social, physical and moral development.

We raise aspirations and expectations for all pupils through our Growth Mind set philosophy and continually strive to ensure 'No Child Left Behind!' Our children's social and emotional well -being is a key consideration to our approach and we have a child therapist on site to provide additional support when required.
