About

Castle Hill High School is a special school for students, aged 11 19, with significant and complex needs. We currently have 349 students on roll. Our most recent Ofsted inspection in July 2023 judged the school to be OUTSTANDING in all areas. The school building and learning resources are maintained to a very high standard.

Specialist facilities include science labs, a food technology room, a design technology workshop, a vocational centre, computing suites and an art room. Our sports facilities include a multi-use games area, a gym and extensive playing fields.

There are indoor and outdoor recreational areas for use before school and at breaks and lunchtimes, including common rooms, a caf (breakfast club and tuck shop) and outdoor play/relaxation areas. Our 48 sixth form students have their own purpose-built Sixth Form Centre within the school building.

The school building is wheelchair accessible and has a lift for disabled access to the upper floors. It also has toileting and showering facilities for disabled people.
