Wood Fold is a popular school located in the historic village of Standish. Over the years we have earned an excellent reputation and enjoy strong links with the local community. We are very proud of every child in our school and of their achievements, both in and beyond the classroom.
At Wood Fold there is something for everyone, whether you are a child, parent, teacher or governor. If you are a prospective parent and your child is now ready to begin their Primary education, the following seven years are probably the most valuable.
Having undergone Ofsted inspections in September 2014 and most recently in February 2025, Wood Fold school was officially judged to be 'Outstanding' on both occasions. An accreditation of which we are immensely proud.
