Thorne King Edward Primary School

We are a friendly, vibrant and very popular two-form entry Primary School in Thorne, Doncaster with 384 children aged 3 to 11. We have a 52 place Nursery, and have Reception through to Year 6. The school is organised in 3 phases – Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6).

At King Edward our aim is to foster a life long love of learning, and develop inquiring minds; enabling all our children to overcome barriers and reach their full potential. We are proud of every child who enters our door at King Edward. We can see the potential of every child and encourage, encourage, and encourage.
