About

A very warm welcome to High Green Primary, our Small School with a Big Heart. I am the very proud Headteacher and I am thrilled you have visited our website. At High Green, we believe that education goes beyond academics, and our love for an outdoor approach to learning exemplifies this philosophy.

We utilise our special spaces, including our woodland, allotment, and secret garden, transforming these natural environments into vibrant classrooms that are enjoyed on a regular basis for a range of activities, including Forest Schools. Here, our pupils are encouraged to explore, discover, use their imagination and engage with the world around them.

Our holistic approach nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, fostering well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. At the heart of everything we do is the idea that family and community are essential. We envision our school as a welcoming space where connections flourish, and every child feels supported and valued.

Our vision is to empower children to become the best version of themselves.
