About

Ghyll Royd School, Pre-School and Nursery is an independent school for girls and boys aged 2 to 11 years and is an accredited member of the Independent Schools Association. We believe that every child should be valued and their contributions recognised no matter how big or small.

We actively look to develop each child's individual talents, build their self-esteem and encourage their leadership skills. We are dedicated to creating a happy and supportive learning environment and our small class sizes ensure that the contribution made by every child is recognised and valued.

Children leave Ghyll Royd School with a Foundation for Life and are well prepared for the secondary school of their choice. Established 135 years ago, Ghyll Royd School is set in magnificent Victorian buildings called Greystone Manor. The School is surrounded by seven acres of fields, woodland and gardens.

The manor grounds provide Ghyll Royd School, Pre-School and Nursery with excellent sports fields and outdoor facilities that create the perfect environment for a child's development and learning.
