Welcome to Shelf Junior and Infant School. Hopefully you will find all of the information that you need about school but if you cannot find what you are looking for, or would like to speak to someone in person then please do not hesitate to contact us at school.
I believe that a child's first years in education should give them a 'love of learning' and create high expectations which will set them on the right path. With this they can achieve anything they desire. School must be an inspirational place, a place of safety and warmth and place where they are encouraged to 'Shine'. This is my vision for Shelf School.
I want to make learning irresistible both inside and outside the classroom for your children. I want parents to be fully welcomed within the school so that we can truly work together to enhance learning experiences.
I want children to experience an exciting curriculum that draws on their knowledge and experiences and allows them to develop their basic skills to become skillful, independent and enthusiastic learners ready for any challenge in the next step of their education.
