About

Farsley Farfield Primary School has a huge amount to offer your child: many unique qualities that will combine to offer a rich and engaging education. The school has strong standards of attainment, very extensive grounds, great sports provision, brilliant IT resources and an exciting curriculum. We are a popular, diverse and inclusive school.

Our families are very supportive and strongly value our work . Our PTA is outstanding! In June 2017, we were awarded the accolade of national Healthy School of the Year! In September 2023, Ofsted concluded yet again that we are a good school with a vibrant , ambitious curriculum and elements of exceptional practice.

Our academic standards are good and often very good : in the summer of 2024, over one-fifth of our children reached greater depth standards in each of reading, writing and maths placing us in the top 5% of English schools in that measure. Our 2025 results are well above national averages , with nearly 60% of children reaching greater depth standards in reading and 40% in maths.

Despite having lots of children with SEND, our combined results were nearly 10% higher than the national average.
