About

At Ashfield Nursery School, we provide a warm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can thrive. Since opening in 1932, we have been a cherished part of the community, welcoming generations of families who value our rich learning experiences and caring atmosphere.

Our nursery is set in a beautiful, historic home with extensive walled gardens, offering children endless opportunities to explore, play, and grow. From climbing and balancing to digging in our large sandpit and tending to raised garden beds, every corner of Ashfield encourages discovery and adventure.

We take pride in our highly qualified and passionate staff, some of whom have been with us for many years, bringing a wealth of experience and stability. Alongside them, our newer practitioners bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm, creating a dynamic and innovative learning environment.

At Ashfield, we celebrate each child's individuality, embracing their interests and tailoring our curriculum to challenge, engage, and inspire a love of learning. We value our strong home-school partnerships, working closely with families to support each child's development and well-being.
