From September 2026, we begin a new and exciting chapter, becoming The Newcastle School and welcoming girls into our community for the first time; building on the legacy of Newcastle School for Boys.

Located in the heart of Gosforth, the school offers an all-through education to pupils age 3 to 18. The School provides an excellent all-round learn ing experience within a community that is supportive and actively promotes wellbeing.

We aim to challenge and support each pupil to achieve the highest levels of: As one of the newest schools in the independent sector, Newcastle School for Boys incorporates traditional values whilst preparing all pupils for the changing expectations and pressures of modern life.

The School is unique, not only in offering an education throughout a pupil's school life, but also in its size. Comparatively small in both class sizes and as an overall school, each pupil who joins the School is well known to every member of staff, being treated and educated as an individual.
