About

back and Happy New Year to you all. First of all can I say a huge thank you for the lovely cards and gifts, you are very kind and I am a very lucky teacher to work with such wonderful children. There are a couple of important changes to note about our timetable this term.

Due to our cheerleading sessions coming to an end, we have moved our Monday PE session to Tuesday, the Thursday session will stay the same until half term after which we begin swimming sessions, I will send you more details about that nearer the time.

This has also meant a change in our spelling lesson, it will now take place on Tuesday, this means that the children will need to bring their spelling books on Tuesdays rather than Monday. Maths work this term will continue to develop the children's understanding of number, telling the time, measuring length and weight, as well as using their knowledge to solve problems.

In English we will be looking at Ug by Raymond Briggs, learning new spelling rules and continuing to develop and improve reading skills.
