I am delighted to welcome you to our nursery website. Hylton Red House Nursery School is proud to be a maintained nursery provision within Sunderland. The nursery was built over forty years ago and is at the heart of the Redhouse community. Our parents consistently tell us how much they value us!
We have worked hard to ensure our children have the best nursery education within a safe and nurturing environment. We have been recognised as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted since 2013. Indoors, we offer calm and caring environments where children feel secure.
Outside, we offer exciting learning opportunities to children through providing stimulating, challenging and adventurous open spaces. Supporting wellbeing and mental health is at the heart of everything we do. Our Mission is that we will nurture children's educational, social and emotional development, in order that they become independent, responsible and resilient learners.
In order that children become resilient, we must ensure we have resilient staff and resilient parents.
